قصة الفيلم :

تدور قصة فيلم الكارتون والاطفال الديناصور اللطيف The Good Dinosaur 
حول الديناصور المراهق والمنتمي إلى فصيلة أباتوصور 
والذي يُدعى أرلو البالغ من الطول 70 قدم 
وهو أصغر اخوته الذين يسخرون منه بسبب ضعفه
 يعلمه والده كيف يصيد من يحاول سرقة طعامهم
 فيقابل الفتى سبوت من بني البشر الذي اكل من طعامهم
 فيخرج في مطاردة مع ابيه للفتى سبوت 
ولكن حادث مأساوي يقع لابيه
 فيضطر أرلو الى خوض مغامرة 
تتطور فيها علاقة الصداقة بينه وبين سبوت ستغير مجرى حياتهما للأبد.
